Lapwai Creek, Culdesac, Idaho
The project will consist mainly of stream channel renovation with an earth and rock levee extending for 3,200 feet on the left bank of the creek in the village of Culdesac, Nez Perce County, Idaho. Lapwai Creek is a small tributary of Clearwater River in the west central part of Idaho. Fish and wildlife resources will not be significantly affected. A small amount of riparin vegetation is to be removed and a rock quarry will be created. Temporary disruption will occur as the work is carried out.
