GE-225 Computer Program for Slope Stability Analysis
The slope stability program described herein, when used with a General Electric GE-225 computer, evaluates embankment safety factors for the cases of after construction, sudden drawdown, partial pool, critical pool, and steady seepage, using both normal and earthquake loads. The program is intended to have general application in providing the safety analysis of any natural or man-made earth slope for which the circular-arc method is valid. This report also includes complete data-preparation instructions with three illustrative examples, and a description of the computational procedure.
