Mill Creek Channel, Walla Walla, Washington. Hydraulic Model Investigation
A 1:10-scale hydraulic model simulated a 40-ft-wide section of the channel with five stabilizers in a sand-gravel bed stream. Scour depths downstream from the stabilizers were observed and riprap protection was recommended. Riprap protection along the side slopes was also recommended. (Author)
