Architectural Opportunities Seminar - Use and Misuse of Wood in Construction and Architectural Design
The seminar was prompted by incidents of improper use of wood in the Pacific Northwest. An apparent need exists to acquaint architects with the hazards attendant upon the use of wood, to explain how to prevent or forestall the adverse effects of these hazards, and to point out some of the architectural opportunities that wood offers as a building material.
