A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The overall objective of this study was to develop a realistic strength design methodology for reinforced concrete hydraulic structures and to devise an accurate and efficient design procedure for implementing these strength design methods. The first phase of this study developed preliminary strength design criteria that will yield designs equivalent to those designed by the working-stress method for hydraulic structures. The results of this first phase study are given in this report. (Author)
