Progress in the renovation and reactivation of the Cresap coal liquefaction pilot plant is discussed. Severe winter weather has caused delays and checkout of some items showed that corrections were needed. The US DOE has changed the emphasis of this program so that it will concentrate on liquefaction operation and obtain equipment test data within the framework of normal operations.
