The report presents a proposal for the construction of 2.161 miles of Interstate Route 35W in Wichita, Kansas. Major items involved include right of way acquisition, grading, drainage, surfacing, bridges and other appurtenant construction to complete the project. The roadway alignment is coincidental with that of the Wichita Drainage Canal and channel improvements are incorporated into the project. The project limits are between Stafford and English Streets along the canal. Roadway section consists of a six-lane divided facility with a concrete lined canal channel as the median. Access will be fully controlled with interchanges at Harry and Lincoln Streets and a full-directional type interchange at Kellogg Avenue.
