Standard Plans for Low Cost Bridges: Series BLC-530, Buried Structures; Load Factor
The standard drawings were developed to provide a rapid means of producing a set of construction plans for a buried structure (culvert) with a minimum amount of design and drawing effort. Standard designs based on Load Factor methods are included for 6 structure types with waterway openings ranging from a minimum of 17 square feet for a single cell structure to a maximum of approximately 400 square feet for a double cell structure.
