A Comprehensive Master Plan, Town of Castile, Wyoming County, New York: Volume II. Master Plan and Implementation
The report contains the second and third phases of the Comprehensive Plan for the Town of Castile: the Master Plan and recommended measures for implementation. The Master Plan section assimilates the data from Volume I: Basic Studies, and makes a series of recommendations in the form of four specific plans: The Land Use Plan; The Circulation Plan; The Community Facilities Plan; The Financial Plan. The final portion of the Comprehensive Plan is the Implementation section, which proposes Land Subdivision Regulations and a Zoning Ordinance; these two measures are designed to insure a high quality of development in Castile and are suggested as two of the most effective instruments in carrying out the recommendations of the Master Plan. In addition, this volume contains a special report addressing itself to the problems of the Silver Lake resort area in the Towns of Castile and Perry, and suggesting improvements and redevelopment measures to achieve a high quality of development in this area.
