Trail Creek Park: An Archaeological Reconnaissance Survey in LaPorte County, Indiana
LaPorte County Department of Parks and Recreation proposed long-term development and construction of recreation facilities for a community park. The Department contracted for an inventory archeological survey of approximately 60 acres on the 76-acre tract; approximately 16 acres are wetland. Shovel testing at 15 meter intervals produced no evidence of either historic or prehistoric cultural materials.
