Cookeville's Housing Problems and Prospects
Housing problems are identified and analyzed. The local housing situation is examined quantitatively and qualitatively so as to determine the magnitude of the problem. Obstructions to the provision of low- and moderate-income housing are identified and examined. A housing program is presented. A plan for renewal is presented along with a timetable for implementation of this plan, a proposed method of housing displaced families, and a continuing program for upgrading the local residential environment.
