Ocona Hydroelectric Project. Annex to the Geological, Geotechnical and Constructability Report
This report, conducted by Harza Engineering Company, was funded by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency to examine the feasibility of an Ocona hydroelectric project in Peru. The report, in five volumes, contains information on project setting, project selection, description of phase I project, description of phase II project, power and energy production, construction cost and schedule, financial evaluation, environmental review, project development, and master equipment list and potential U.S. suppliers. This project has the potential to produce $76 million in U.S. exports, with the bulk of those exports coming from dam construction equipment, penstocks, tunneling equipment, turbines, generator and electrical equipment, switchyard, transmission lines, engineering administration, and construction management.
