Existing land use includes the city of Waynesboro and its planning area. Residential, commercial, public/semi-public, rights-of-way, industrial, water, and vacant/agricultural areas were identified by field survey for purposes of analysis. Based on an evaluation of existing land use, a land use plan was prepared to delineate areas for conservation and/or utilization, and eliminate incompatible and blighted uses.
