Workshop II: Floating Breakwaters for Small Boat Marinas
An evening workshop brought together several marina owners and managers, local town officials and many of the regular conference participants for a discussion concerning the use of floating breakwaters for small boat marinas. Much of the workshop interest was focused on the potential use of scrap truck and auto tires as material for fabricating relatively inexpensive, effective floating breakwaters for small boat marinas.
