Housing Study: Clarksville-Montgomery County, Tennessee
The Housing Study identifies the housing demand for the Clarksville-Montgomery County Region through the year 1985 by range of household income. It has been determined herein that 494 housing units will need to be constructed each year through 1980, and 259 housing units annually thereafter until 1985; 2,050 of the total 5,737 new housing units needed in this fourteen-year period will be required by households with annual incomes under $6,000. In meeting this construction schedule, government and private industry will need to coordinate their efforts in a housing plan that will include the establishment of a Housing Development Service and a Concentrated Code Enforcement Program.
