The project is located in northern Cambria County, Pennsylvania; approximately 15 miles northwest of Altoona. Existing Legislative Route 11084 serves as the southwestern boundary of Prince Gallitzin State Park. The purpose of the project is to provide a more efficient and safer access road to Prince Gallitzin State Park. The major adverse environmental effect is the loss of 14 acres from Prince Gallitzin State Park and 0.67 acres from State Game Lands No. 108. These lands are defined as 'public use lands'. (Author)
