Foredrag ved FCB's Informasjonsdag 1981 (Lectures at the 1981 Information Day of the Cement and Concrete Research Institute)
The information day of the Cement and Concrete Research Institute (FCB) of the Norwegian Institute of Technology is arranged each year to coincide with the Norwegian Concrete Day in a joint arrangement. It is the FCB's aim, through this arrangement, to expand its contacts with professional people working in concrete in the planning, performance and inspection fields. The report contains the lectures which were given by people from the FCB on the FCB, its organization, financing and research, silica in concrete, the tendency to crack because of drying out prematurely, checking the condition of marine structures, analyses for evaluating the quality of hardened concrete, frostproof concrete, punching holes in concrete slabs, determining dimensions with electronic data processing, determining dimensions by means of tests, anchoring reinforcement, the oscillation of antenna masts and concrete structures and heat. Bibliographies accompany some of the texts of the lectures.
