A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Library Facilities
Predictions have been made of future libarary needs, based on populations growth, to determine what new libraries, buildings and book stock will be needed. This was accomplished by applying standards for library service established by the Orlando Public Library to existing libraries and deficiencies noted. These existing deficiences combined with future needs are remedied by the plan. A plan for new and expanded libraries is then presented to remedy deficiencies and meet library needs for the period of 1970-1990. (Author)
