Archaeological Survey of a Proposed Boat Launching Site in Dunn Township, Dane County, Wisconsin
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources contracted for an archeological survey of a proposed boat landing site on Lake Kegonsa in Dunn township, Dane County, Wisconsin. In the course of the survey, a total of 21 shovel test units were located in the project area. No prehistoric artifacts were found, and historic artifacts were limited to pieces of rusted metal and several pieces of pane glass. A 20th century tavern was once located in a portion of the project area.
