Master Plan for the Town of Stow, Massachusetts. Book II
The Town of Stow has undertaken a continuing planning program in order to provide municipal services for its rapidly growing population and to preserve, in an urbanizing area, some of its open space and attractive countryside. In the early sixties the Planning Board recommended improvements to some of the town bylaws, and a Conservation Commission was established. At the same time the Town appropriated funds for half of a comprehensive plan. The second half, contained in this book, includes the plan for the remainder of town facilities, additional means of plan implementation, and such revisions to Book I recommendations as are necessitated by the result of this study, events in or affecting Stow since Book I was prepared, and new federal and state programs.
