Steel-Concrete Composite Slim Floor Frame System
The behavior of the beams, columns and connections in the composite frame system were investigated and both structural design and construction technology were developed. Full-scale connection tests were carried out on a cruciform-type of test set-up and the results of the tests on bare steel and composite connections are reported. The behavior of a composite slim floor construction exposed to ISO fire was investigated. The temperature analysis and calculation of load-bearing capacity under fire conditions were made. The structural fire resistance behavior of the slim floor beam, both an isolated member and as a part of the frame with surrounding restraints, is investigated and the relationship between the fire resistance and load ratio under ISO standard fire was discussed.
