The report contains the proceedings of a conference on systems building held Feb. 24-26, 1972, which was devoted to advancing the state-of-the-art of systems building and to promote the concept of total building design. A case study of the planning, design, and construction of the Standard Oil of Indiana building in Chicago was the principle topic during the first half of the meeting.
