Project No. NY-UTG-44, The Construction of the Second Avenue Subway in New York City, New York. 34th Street to 126th Street, Manhattan
Application is made from the New York City Transit Authority for a $254,000,000 urban mass transportation capital grant to assist in the final design and construction of 4.7 miles of subway under Second Avenue in the Borough of Manhattan. There are no permanent adverse environmental impacts resulting from this project. There are a number of short-range adverse impacts which arise from the construction activity associated with a large construction project.
