The report, written in Spanish, presents the results of a feasibility study prepared by the consortium of TAMS-EBASCO-ICCA for the National Institute Electrification of Guatemala. The purpose of the study was to determine the optimum physical location for the Chixoy Medio Hydro-Electric Plant. The consortium evaluated three separate possible site locations in order to determine the most beneficial location for the project. Volume 1 of the 2 volume set identifies the following: Summary; Annex A - Geological and Geotechnical Revision; Annex B - Hydrology; and Annex C - Sedimentation Study.
