Urban Area Amenities and Location Choices of Migrants in Professional and Related Occupations
The paper is concerned with some preliminary research efforts regarding the question of the role of urban amenities in determining differential patterns of area growth attractive to professional level personnel. Discussion of some categories instrumental to migration of professional peoples include characteristics of population and economics, physical environment, services provided by the local governments, educational and cultural facilities, etc. are presented.
