Wind Tunnel Corrections for Measurements of Two-Dimensional Profiles in the Transonic Wind Tunnel of the Aerodynamic Testing Facility Goettingen
Pressure distribution measurements on an airfoil at high subsonic speed were carried out in the transonic winGoettingen of the DFVLR. The normal force coefficients obtained from these pressure distributions were corrected for winces and compared with results of theoretical calculations. To this end the wind tunnel wall corrections for two-dimensional flow given in the literature were adapted to the special case of the transonic wind tunnel of the AVA. (Author)
