Shear Strength of Non-Shear Reinforced Concrete Elements. Part 2. T-Beams
This paper deals with the plastic shear strength of non shear reinforced T-beams. The position of the crack in which sliding takes place is determined by the crack sliding model developed by Jin-Ping Zhang. The theoretical calculations are compared with test results reported in the literature. A good agreement has been found. A simplified method to calculate the shear capacity of T-beams is presented.
