Historic Resource Study, Bering Land Bridge, National Preserve, Alaska
The report is oriented toward the identification and evaluation of the historic resources in the park to accomplish compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act as amended in 1980. It also provides basic reference material for planners, managers, and interpreters to facilitate the proper care and management of cultural properties. The report attempts to document the history after European contact in 1732; the prehistory of the area will be chronicled in a companion volume by Jeanne Shaaf.
