Wind Instrumentation of the Luling Bridge, Luling, Louisiana. Volume 1. Methods and Results
This report documents work done in preparation for field measurements of wind characteristics, wind induced cable stay motion and deck motion of the Mississippi River bridge between Luling and Destrehan, Louisiana. The bridge is scheduled for completion during the summer of 1983. It is a cable stayed bridge, the largest ever to be constructed in an area exposed to the extreme winds of hurricanes.
