Permeability of Timber and Timber Based Products
The purpose of the original project, part of which is described in this report, were to determine appropriate standards for higher thermal performance for roofs, walls and floors of timber frame housing and to study the possible effects on specification following testing and approval. Appropriate U-values are considered. Reports on the project include a review of North American and Scandinavian details, suitable for the UK, and describe tests on a variety of wall panels, sheathing materials and breather membranes.
