Dieses treffende Bonmot des Schriftstellers Andreas Neumeister illustriert die städtebauliche, architektonische und baukonstruktive Bedeutung des hessischen Wolkenkratzer-Ensembles. In Ergänzung zu den beinahe ausschließlich von außen erlebbaren etwa 530 Hochhäusern der Stadt, erläutert das Deutsche Architekturmuseum in Frankfurt am Main politische, gesellschaftliche aber auch bauliche Hintergrunde und Entwicklungen. Die Ausstellung "Himmelsturmend - Hochhausstadt Frankfurt" wird dort bis zum 19. April 2015 gezeigt. Skyward - Buildings and Visions of the Highrise City Frankfurt since 1945.
