Yamana forms subsidiary to hold noncore assets
Yamana Gold has formed a subsidiary company, Brio Gold Inc., to hold its noncore assets, including the Fazenda Brasileiro, Pilar, and Cl Santa Luz mines in Brazil and the Agua Rica development project in Argentina. Yamana also reported that it has received a positive independent technical review of the Agua Rica project that will support consideration of potential development options for the project, including potential joint ventures, the sale of a majority interest in the project, or an outright sale.
