A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The purpose of this session was to help inspire those who might want to enhance their presentations or lectures with historical items and/or unique objects. Because many people cannot attend the ACI convention, the following pictures and descriptions are being made available. Kansas State University Memorial Stadium: A Look at Historical Aspects of Engineering, Planning, and Design Completed in September of 1924 as a memorial to the students and alumni who sacrificed their lives during World War I, Kansas State University's Memorial Stadium is a notable reinforced concrete structure with limestone cladding.
