The Louisiana State Museum, Owner; Trahan Architects, Architect of Record; LBYD Civil and Structural Engineers, Engineer of Record; VCC, General Contractor; Bonna Sabla, Concrete Contractor; and Advance Architectural Stone, Concrete Supplier.\n The design and construction team determined that cast concrete was the ideal material to create the object, using formwork produced from expanded polystyrene foam sculpted by robotic routers using the 3-D computer model as the guide.
