ACI 318 Translation Agreement with Vietnam
A delegation from Vietnam led by Le Quang Hung, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Construction, recently visited ACI Headquarters. Several Vietnamese organizations were also represented, including the Institute for Building Science and Technology and Hanoi Architectural University. Discussions during the visit resulted in the signing of an agreement to translate the ACI 318 Building Code and several other ACI technical documents into Vietnamese. Last year, ACI representatives traveled to Vietnam for the Asian Concrete Federation Conference and to sign Memorandums of Understanding with the Ministry of Construction, the Institute for Building Science and Technology, and the National University of Civil Engineering.
