Two projects finished in second place: "Some Properties of Sustainable Concrete with Plastic Waste Aggregate" by Baidaa Ali Naser and Hussein Qais Abdul Wahab of the Building and Management Engineering Division, Building and Construction Department, University of Technology, supervised by Wasan Ismail Khalil; and "Partial and Full Replacement of Silica Sand by Fine Recycled Glass in Cementitious Composites" by Sajjad Hussein Ali and Ahmed Latif Kadhum of the College of Engineering, University of Wasit, supervised by Sallal Rashid Abid. The third-place winner is "Dimensional Stability of Surface Coated Fiber Cement Composites" by Fadia Jassim Mohammed of the Building and Construction Department, University of Technology, supervised by Maan S. Hassan. * New certification program launched The Iraq Chapter - ACI and the University of Technology (UoT) at Baghdad completed ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I and Concrete Construction Special Inspector certification programs last March and May, respectively.
