Characteristics of the development of collapse in loess soils with time
Conclusion In connection with the wide range of variation of the collapse deformations, in the analysis and design of major buildings on loess soils account should be taken not only of the value and nonuniformity of the collapse deformations of the foundation beds for the specific soil conditions, but also of the nature and possible maximum rate of development of the collapse.
