Modified method for intensive dynamic compaction of weak soils
Conclusions 1. The proposed method for the preliminary settlement of a bed using IDC makes it possible to lower the construction cost by 30–50% and the energy consumption of the work involved by 25–60%. 2. It is necessary to continue field testing and research, and also to develop theoretical bases for settlement calculations.
