Abstract The role played by geomonitoring as a component part of the scientific accompaniment of the building of unique projects, which makes it possible to avoid emergency situations during the installation of underground structures in a dense urban setting and to ensure the preservation of cultural, historic, and architectural monuments, is exemplified by the commercial-recreational complex (CRC) “Manege Square” in Moscow.
