Monitoring changes in geocryological conditions during the engineering preparation, construction, and occupancy of buildings and structures
Abstract A system of geocryological observations carried out in urban settings of the cryolithozone is examined over the entire period of entity existence: from engineering preparation of the area for construction to reconstruction of the building or structure. Special attention is focused on the monitoring of changes in geocryological and geoecological conditions, which occur in permafrost beds under the influence of man’s activity and which result in the deformation of buildings and structures.
