Monitoring Foundation Deformations of the Building Housing the Bishop Chambers in the Suzdal Kremlin
Abstract Observations of the deformation of the architectural complex comprising the Suzdal Kremlin suggest the progressive dynamics of these deformations, which have resulted in the emergency state of the bishop chambers. Scientific-technical investigations, which include a program to preserve the historical entities of this complex are discussed. An alternate scheme for anti-emergency work on the stone structures (among other things, rubble foundations) by the method of injecting a cement grout was found to have little effect.
