Effect of Freezing Conditions on the Shear Strength of Soils Frozen Together with Materials
Abstract The relationship between the strength of soils frozen together with materials on the roughness of their surface is analyzed under different temperature conditions. The formation of an ice interlayer at the contact between the frozen soil and material, and its effect on the adfreezing strength are investigated.
