Geomechanical problems in high-rise construction
Abstract Fundamental and determining geomechanical factors that ensure the safety of high-rise construction are discussed. Characteristics used in selecting a geomechanical model for the beds of high-liability structures, and a mechanical model for the bed soils and surrounding mass are analyzed.
