Stress-Strain State of Saturated Beds of Foundations of Finite Width
Statements and solutions of problems of quantitative assessment of the stress-strain state (SSS) of saturated beds of foundations of finite length are presented with consideration of dilatational and shear strains, and the creep properties and degree of saturation Sr < 1. It is demonstrated that consideration of these factors appreciably affects the unstabilized and stabilized consolidation states.
