Abstract Development of Green Revolution Game for understanding small group dynamics. Development of Exaction: a whole country simulation. Simulations are not trivial. They are not confined to preset variables. Players can change their circumstances by action. Simulations expose limits of theoretical explanations. Constraints on use of games: ambiguity of developments; time; cost; skills; simplification. Games provide unique confrontation between physical constraints and imagination.
