Conclusions The use of effective polymeric materials for controlling seepage in hydraulic structures operating under pressure is more effective and cheaper in a number of cases than the use of traditional methods (grouting, silicate injection, etc.)The accomplishment of reliable corrosion protection of steel penstock linings during operation requires thorough preparation and consideration of the specific conditions of performing the work.
