Ways to improve labor productivity in the assembly of mechanical equipment and metal designs in hydraulic structures
Conclusions Tendency to maximize mechanization of assembly operations is a common trait of modern plans for the production of work involving the assembly of mechanical equipment and metal designs in hydraulic structures; this is one of the factors responsible for lowering the construction costs of hydroelectric power plants, the reduction in the time required for the construction, and the increase in the reliability and improvement in the operating conditions of these plants.Hydraulic turnbuckles, and an electromagnetic instrument should be universally introduced to increase labor productivity and improve the assembly and welding quality of mechanical equipment and metal designs.Major attention should be turned to the widespread implementation of progressive methods of assembly, including unit assembly, to the widespread use of consolidation assembly at low elevations, and of assembly by the assembly-line method, and to use of lasers and television systems in the assembly process.The steadily increasing number of requirements for the reliability and economy of mechanical equipment, the use of new techniques, and the mechanization and automation of operations require a further increase in the educational development of the production of assembly operations.
