Conclusions The method of assembly with entirely joined large shells of the lining of a surge tank can be recommended as an industrial and economical method for introduction at other analogous objects.Special costly equipment for performing assembly works should be developed with consideration of reuse or be left for operation of the structures.It is necessary to create special freight and passenger hoists for ensuring convenient and safe conditions of assembly works in underground workings of hydraulic structures.
