Use of mushy concretes in construction of the inguri hydroelectric station
Conclusions It was established that the use of the complex additive WCA+FM+SYL is the most effective when producing highly fluid (mushy) concrete mixes.Complex additives substantially improve cohesiveness, workability, and keeping qualities (with respect to fluidity) of the mix, and also considerably reduce its segregation during placement in the structures being concreted.The use of mushy mixes reduces labor expenditures on concreting geometrically and technologically complex structures, improves the conditions of performing the works, and shortens the construction time.
