Capillary impregnation of concrete and its seepage structure
Conclusions The given method of examining capillary impregnation of dense concretes enables determining their seepage structure and comparing the permeability of various concretes. The results obtained for certain sand concretes with Portland cement and hardened cement are shown in the present work. Activated cast mixes, despite the comparatively high water/cement ratio, can create concretes with a low permeability.
